in Wales and he is responsible for driving

| Anne-Marie is the Coordinator for PANW
which has been set up in response to the
Welsh Assembly Government’s Climbing
Higher Strategy, to provide support and partnership
with individuals and organisations across
the whole spectrum of physical activity. |
| Paul Conway: Crown Fitness
Club |

| Paul is the owner/manager of Crown Fitness
Club, previously General Manager at both
Bannatynes Fitness and Fitness First. Has
worked in the industry for many years progressing
from fitness instructor to fitness manager
and owner/operator. |
| John Byers: Register of
Exercise Professionals (REPs) |

| John has been the Welsh Officer for REPs
since January 06. REPs is the assurance mechanism
for the Health and Fitness Industry and with
ECW it provides a ‘one stop shop’
for health & fitness in Wales. |
| Andy Evans: Coleg Glan
Hafren/ SkillsActive Learning Hub (SA LH) |

| Andy is currently Business Development
Manager for Sport, Health and Fitness and
is a qualified lecturer. Andy coordinates
the SkillsActive Learning Hub and is the
Further Education representative in Wales
for University College Sport (UCS). |
| Gareth James: VT Training |

| Gareth is Vocational Coach Coordinator
for the delivery of apprenticeships in the
Active Leisure Sector across Wales funded
by the Welsh Assembly Government and European
Social Fund. Gareth has been involved in
Leisure Management for 5 years. |
| James Owens: Sports Council
Wales (SCW) |

| James obtained a degree in sport and recreation
management at Cheltenham college and worked
at various leisure centres across the UK
for 15 years. James is now the SCW Active
Communities Manager in South West Wales. |
| Ceinwen Stokes: Gwynedd
Council |

| Ceinwen is the Health and Fitness Development
Officer for Gwynedd Council’s Lifelong
Learning Services. She enables the leisure
section to implement it’s commitment
to the various current health strategies. |
| Rhian James: ECW Development
Manager |
 |
| Rhian’s role involves providing expert
advice and support and developing partnerships
with individuals/organisations in order to
support the expansion of the Health and Fitness
sector. Prior to this role, Rhian coordinated
several physical activity projects for the
Torfaen Healthy Living Initiative, including
a GP Exercise Referral Scheme and a Walking
the Way to Health project. |
